Gargantans is a village located in the municipality of Moraña, in the province of Pontevedra. Its parish church, San Martiño or San Martín de Gargantans was probably built at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. However, in modern times the nave of the church was removed and the Romanesque doorways and lateral corbels were lost. What remains from the Romanesque period are part of the southern walls and the monumental chancel.
